What We've been waiting for all Summer!!

The top picture is my favorite picture of our vacation.

The excitement we all have when we arrive in Michigan is overwhelming. There is so much to do, we have a week here, but the kids want to do it all the first day. There is just no way to get it all in but we sure try. Today, I found it interesting the first activity of choice were the row boats. This didn't surprise me in regards to Logan, she has always loved to "paddle," but Noah hopped in his own boat, proud not to have to wear a life jacket and they both tooled around. Then the two joined forces and rowed around together. Lil' ANJILS stands for Ally, Noah, Jack, Isaiah, and Logan, all of the grandchildren. Logan is only wearing her life jacket, completely naked otherwise. The oar is strategically placed, huh?
Isaiah decided he needed a turn and after a few minutes sat down and requested that I sing "Row, Row, Row your Boat" continuously throughout his boat ride. He was very happy. Isaiah also enjoyed his first wave runner ride today. Last year, he was only 6-9 months old during the summer so he didn't ride then. This year, he enjoyed it and acted like Noah did at that age, loving the speed and not minding the wind.
Today was the first time Logan expressed desire to ride the wave runner, I am sure it is due to a Backyardigan's show but I am thankful. After her first ride she hopped onto the dock and said there were "strong winds." Grammy suggested googles, Logan's favorite swim accessory, to block her eyes from the wind and that was the ticket. Just look at how buggish and cute my little girl is on that wave runner. She is awfully happy too.
As if all this wasn't enough, Gary, Grandpa, Noah and Logan headed to the rock pile to fish. No fish were biting but they still had fun.
